From now until July 7th, 2025, and from November 8th, 2025 – April 6th, 2026, Uranus will bring final changes to our lives… and they won’t be small.

Big Final Changes
Since May 2018, Uranus has been creating deep and incredibly foundational changes through its journey through Taurus, the most dependable and consistent sign of the zodiac… and the one that least likes change. This was a time of upheavals in finances on the world stage, shakeups in food, and massive curveballs when it came to people’s health, body, and fertility – all Taurus-ruled subjects. But on the individual level, Uranus in Taurus transformed parts of our lives that depend on our unique astrological blueprint that only we have.
This article provides an understanding of where the changes have impacted us already, and where they’ll hit next, as Uranus’s final stay in Taurus (April-July 2025, November 2025-April 2026) brings the final shakeups and amps up the ante.
Honestly, I can’t overstate how impactful the ending of an Outer Planet sign journey is. All that this planet rules (which, in Uranus’s case, is changes) is strengthened while themes we’ve walked with for the past 8 years come up to be revisited. This doesn’t look like a repeat of the past though as we have come further, and we can make new choices in old situations. However, it’s best to be prepared.
So, here’s Uranus in Taurus for each of the signs – though I recommend getting a reading if you’d like information and advice tailored to your unique astrological blueprint and life circumstances.
Dates:
May 5th – November 6th, 2018,
March 6th, 2019 – July 7th, 2025,
November 8th, 2025 – April 6th, 2026.
Between July 7th and November 8th, 2025, and after April 6th, 2026, Uranus will enter Gemini where it’ll stay until 2033.
Uranus will return to Taurus in April of 2102.

Aries
The last 8 years have changed your values, self-worth, and any part of your life that has to do with money. Uranus in Taurus for you especially impacted the way that you earn, spend, and relate to financial means and resources. There may have been surprising and unexpected developments with income and your relationship to money (be it lack mentality or a newly rich impulse to spend as much as you can quickly, or anything in between) may have also changed and changed you. A large focus here was freedom and sustainability as well as dealing with uncertainty (the latter by necessity rather than choice). Your job and other external factors that provide finances (such as marriage) may have also brought changes that then impacted your finances in some way.
When it comes to values, Uranus in Taurus asked you/brought you to question whether the values you have are truly yours to hold and where they may need to be updated and changed so they make more sense. A set rigid book of values may have lost its appeal (if it had any in the first place), and awareness may have come into the areas of life where you knowingly or unknowingly follow values you actually don’t really agree with. Even values that you do agree with may have shifted – changes in the world requiring changes in their expression or priority, or even the value in the first place.
When it comes to self-confidence, Uranus in Taurus set you up to place your worth in what you feel makes you unique, rather than molding yourself into the image others may want you to have (this has been an ongoing process since about 2011). Plus, you may have set yourself free from expectations and other binds that negatively impacted your self-worth.
Taurus
The last 8 years massively changed the way you express yourself in the world, your identity, the way you’re perceived, and the overall trajectory of your life. All in all, it was a very impactful time of your life that set you free as an individual and showed you how to let your true self shine through more, how and where to claim more space, and where your true genius and gift zones are.
Uranus in Taurus is a massively impactful time as the very areas of life that are the most resistant to change are targeted for an upheaval. For you, this was very personal as part of this transit was about your relationship to yourself and the way that others relate to you. You may have experienced massive personal growth during this time frame as well as more confidence to be the unique and different soul that you are and allow others to see this. On a physical level, you may have also experienced changes and/or surprises within your own body and/or the way you look and present yourself.
For your lifepath and life trajectory as a whole, Uranus in Taurus brought massive surprises and upheaval that may have led to a completely new beginning and new “era” of your life. This era won’t end just because the transit does: while the window of massive new opportunities (that often surprise you as Uranus brings the unexpected) shifts somewhat and loses some of its intensity, the new beginning remains and sets you up for your future. Next up, the frequency of change will slow down for you – I’m sure you’re happy to hear so.
Gemini
The last 8 years cleaned up your life. Everything (and anyone) that was not meant to stay fell away as Uranus in Taurus disrupted the status quo and brought final endings. Truth be told, this is about the most intense transit anyone can experience (and Uranus in Gemini will bring better times for you). So, congratulations: you’re almost at the end.
This placement also brought surprises and curveballs in all areas of your life, including by slowing you down and forcing you to go inward and address longstanding internal issues, misalignments in your life, and patterns of self-sabotage. But Uranus in Taurus was meant to set you free: these periods of endings and forceful slowness/introspection/realignments happened for you, not against you. In the future, they’ll provide the blank slate that you can then set up a much better and much more liberating and authentic, purpose-filled, and fun life path on.
Uranus in Taurus also affected anything in life that’s invisible or hidden from the world: repressed memories, power structures that are not visible (or that are visible, but still fraught with secrets in some way), areas of life that happen separate from what we usually see or know, the taboo that we don’t want to look at or address because it is too uncomfortable. Uranus in Taurus forced attention here and brought changes – or changed you through the exposure.
This placement also impacted the spiritual beliefs you hold as well as things such as karma, energetic realities, and epigenetics (I know, what a mixed bag of chips that is). In summary, Uranus in Taurus allowed you to create big effects by addressing the realms of the subtle and making big changes. It also impacted the way you self-sacrifice and serve others… by setting you free from false beliefs and toxic dynamics.
Cancer
The past 8 years really changed up your social circle and friend groups – and changed you through your friends and the overall groups you move in. This includes the group we commonly call “the mainstream” or the average of overall society. This also includes the specific groups we happen to be in, such as the people we do our social hobbies with (such as the music group or orchestra), or even social media, and it specifically focuses on the people we choose as our friends and allies for life. Uranus in Taurus massively impacted all these groups and changed you by your interactions and experiences with them.
This means that you’ve likely had massive changes in your friend groups, including through having friends experience upheavals in their own lives that you were passively/actively impacted by. As Uranus is all about finding freedom and individuality, this includes experiences where you’re led to/choose to/don’t have another option but to cut people out of your life and walk a path that others disagree with. But, as Uranus in this part of your chart is very much about community, this can also look like finding like-minded people who meet you in your strangeness… or change you to be more different than the average person. You may have also met people who were life-changing in their short or long acquaintance with you.
Uranus in Taurus also impacted your dreams and goals for the long-term future. Whatever you wished to experience in life, Uranus in Taurus helped you by either changing the dream or providing surprising opportunities and large-scale changes in your life to move you toward it.

Leo
The past 8 years massively impacted – and changed – your life at work, as well as your career, purpose, relationship with authority figures, and your own authority. As this part of your chart also rules parents, especially the father, you may have also experienced changes with parental (esp. paternal) figures in some way.
In the context of career, Uranus may have brought changes (and continue to bring changes) in the overall career you have and/or the way said career plays out. This includes both changes that happened externally (f.e. a change in what work you’re actively doing in your career, change in your career path as a whole, change in the workplace, change in bosses) and changes that happen internally to set you free of other people’s expectations, make you more self-sustaining, and allow you to be more individualistic and authentic to your true self and the gifts you give. Uranus always asks us to be different than others: in the realm of work and career, you were asked/made to be that. This might have also impacted what you consider to be your life purpose, your overall mission, and your ambitions in life (this doesn’t have to be, but could very well also be career-related).
Surprising opportunities and a process that allows you to claim your own agency more (and be freer from whatever it was that previously held you back) allowed you to get ahead. Topics around authority (your own authority/other people’s authority over you) may have been up for a process in which you claimed more of your own power and liberated yourself in some way, shape, or form. Internal changes may also have changed what you consider to be important – which then changed your life purpose/mission, or what you consider to be worthy of climbing towards. Uranus in Taurus, for you, made you less attached to outside approval. Public life (from your reputation to work taking place in the public realm to public roles) may have been subject to a roller coaster of upheaval that was very unpredictable. This trend continues for a while yet.
Virgo
The past eight years massively impacted your belief systems – all of them. Religion, spirituality, and ethical beliefs were impacted, but so were beliefs about the world at large, psychological truisms, political views, and even scientific/academic beliefs about how the world works. Uranus in Taurus provided a massive update (usually, multiple updates) that made you question all you thought you knew, and what you thought was the larger truth of things. Part of this event was experiences that broadened your horizons, such as travel, education, and the like.
Under Uranus in Taurus, you may have decided to find teachers who are very unique and teach you about fringe, niche, or taboo subjects – or mainstream subjects delivered with a very individualistic and unique twist that you don’t get just anywhere. Under this event, you may have surprisingly become someone else’s teacher as well: be it via writing an educational book on a subject, or by actively teaching someone about what you know (and they don’t). The world of education, including but not limited to university, may have also changed a lot – and changed you.
Travel and other exposure to different ways of life (like cultures, etc.) also drastically changed your outlook and may have been subject to upheaval and unexpected events. You may have also gained family members in terms of in-laws or experienced a lot of change through pre-existing people of that iteration.
Libra
The past 8 years changed your relationship to truth… by exposing you to it. And not in a fun way. Uranus in Taurus is one of the biggest change-bringers in astrology, and for you, it landed in a very intense part of your chart that deals with all the hidden truths that have the power to change people’s lives and transform them to the core. These are secrets, things that have been labeled taboo, and subjects that are generally treated with care out of compassion for those involved (including themes like mortality, trauma, birth, and more). Uranus brought them to the surface and unexpectedly through curveballs so you’d see the truth of any situation, partnership, or person, and then make an empowered choice to set you free.
In partnership, intimacy was a major theme: both in terms of physical and emotional intimacy. Some of you may have changed your relationship with intimacy or had massively life-changing experiences with people you were intimate with, including negative ones. Some of you may have experienced breakups or new people entering your life. Freedom, autonomy, and independence within relationships were a major theme during this time that made or broke relationships.
Shared resources and themes around trust and power were also subject to massive changes, personal growth, and real-world upheavals where things in the external world were shaken up in ways that, with time, created autonomy and liberation. Most prominently, dynamics of toxic dependency and the like were revealed and often ended (quite abruptly), which will (with time) turn out to be a blessing in disguise. While this happened for your benefit, let me tell you: the next transit of Uranus in Gemini will be easier for you.
Scorpio
The last 8 years massively changed your committed relationships, romantic life, and overall social life. Firstly, when it comes to romance, Uranus in Taurus may have given you epiphanies that allowed you to see clearly when it comes to your desire and capacity to commit – and whom you need to commit to. As Uranus is quite individualistic, you may have found yourself throwing certain “commonly accepted truths” about love and relationships overboard and decided to explore or commit to ways you know work for you (but not necessarily others).
In committed relationships, Uranus in Taurus revealed who the people around you truly are. Some unexpected events may have brought people into your life that changed it rapidly (and yourself while you were with them), or removed people from your life – some of whom you might have been quite attached to. This (un)wanted liberation will with time lead to a much better love for you as relationships that break for Scorpio Sun and Risings under Uranus in Taurus had to end… even if it hurts. But not all endings under this event are final: Uranus in Taurus asks us to prioritize our individual journeys and personal growth over-commitment in the sense that the focus is growth (especially your partner’s)… even if that destabilizes the relationship or changes it in its entirety. However, a good relationship will either survive that or be on some sort of pause, with both people reuniting once the growth work is done. That being said, some endings are very final – and should be – especially if the relationship was toxic or suppressed one party in some way.
The people you meet during this timeframe, whether they are love interests, good friends, or even clients will have changed you and shown you how to be truer to yourself. You may have also changed your view on who would make a good partner, friend, client, or other social connection… refusing to entertain certain behaviors in relationships you used to enable. Long story short, your relationships changed… and this will continue under Uranus in Gemini.

Sagittarius
The past eight years brought massive changes to your work life, daily routines and habits, and even health, work-life balance, and well-being. Those changes don’t have to be medical necessarily but can, for some of you, have had medical components. As Uranus in Taurus affects the body and asks us to be free and liberated from burdens and past proverbial shackles, the question of bodily autonomy and agency when it comes to our physical and mental well-being was paramount. This may have led to much internal, personal growth or even external changes.
In work, the daily chores you do (at your job or outside of it, for instance at home) may have been subjected to massive changes. The way you’re doing things on the job/in other work capacities may have shifted. Also, work environments and co-workers may have been subject to change as well. As Uranus in Taurus impacted your area of being of service, you may have had a journey of liberating yourself from toxic dynamics in which you were giving, giving, giving, and serving, serving, serving, without gaining anything back – or while experiencing detrimental effects as a result. The way you long to serve (if you do) may have also shifted under this event.
Uranus in Taurus also brought massive inconsistencies and changes to routines and habits. At best, this allowed you to set yourself up for habits that work for you as an individual, but it’s also quite likely that you couldn’t commit to a routine in the way you’d like to. However, you learned a lot about what you need in routines and habits: this is information you can build on once this transit is over and Chiron in Taurus (2026-2033) provides a new opportunity to create wellness-bringing routines for you.
Capricorn
The past eight years of Uranus in Taurus impacted your love life and the way you listen to (or ignore) what your heart tells you to do. This event may have seen you change through the people you met and fell in love with, or through the events taking place in your love life as a whole. You may have been set free of patterns, people, or situations that kept you from making the choices you needed to make in love, and you may have embraced your own uniqueness and your unique needs when it comes to romantic relationships.
Uranus in Taurus also affected the themes of children (inner child, children in your life, your own children) and fertility for those to whom that applies. Here, the subject of individuality, freedom, and autonomy, but also of change and surprises, was strong. Children (not necessarily yours, but obviously also your own children if this applies) may have massively changed your life and created personal growth.
The last theme that Uranus in Taurus affected you and brought changes to is your joy, creativity, and self-expression. Uranus here created more self-liberation in the way you express yourself and show up in the world; it brought unexpected surprises and opportunities, as well as inner and outer freedom to the subject of creative endeavors… and it invited you to enjoy your life and set yourself free from things that make it impossible for you to do so.
Aquarius
The past 8 years of Uranus in Taurus changed your home, private life, family, roots, and inner foundations. This transformation went deep as the places you return to so you can recover from the machinations and chaos of the world were the very things that were destabilized, upheaved, and overall, changed.
Family members may have joined or fallen away. Toxic dynamics will have ended as Uranus in Taurus liberated you (with force, if necessary) from chains that kept you bound. Your relationship with your family may have also changed with relationships mending that were problematic before, important truths coming out, and radical family system change becoming a possibility. Themes around fertility may also have been subject to a process of change that included unexpected surprises and themes around agency and bodily autonomy. Your home – the physical structure, the country you live in, or your emotional safe places – may have also been changed and transformed with time. This includes the people you live with, the place you make your home in, or things such as renovations (some voluntarily, some via necessity).
Uranus in Taurus may have also affected the way you view privacy as a whole (and what you wish to invite others to see) as well as the foundations you set your life upon. In both cases, you were led to create what serves you. The subject of nourishing yourself (your body, your heart, your soul) was also up for change and freedom-seeking upheavals.
Pisces
The past eight years of Uranus in Taurus for you was a learning journey – quite literally, as education and learning in the broadest sense was subject of Uranus in Taurus for you. You may have learned about fringe and taboo subjects or learned about something else that had a massively life-changing effect on you and truly shaped (or re-shaped) your perspective. You may have been more drawn to question the information you’re taking in and found a change in your mindset.
Uranus in Taurus also liberated your voice (figuratively or literally) and changed the way you communicate with others in all ways, shapes, and forms. This astrological event allowed you to become less concerned with other people’s reactions and say more controversial and true-to-you things as you a) may have gained more of an audience for them and b) learned not to get as attached to the results of your speech. You may have also created more independence and freedom for yourself via the means of communication (writing, speaking, art forms, etc.) and seen changes in the way you use those means as well.
This event also impacted your local life (from neighbors to commute and anything at a short-trip level distance), your siblings, and commerce. Any part of your life touched by those subjects may have changed – or the people involved may have gone through significant changes, too.
